Hacienda Bambusa is a working farm set in the southern reaches of Colombia's coffee region, where a privileged climate and an extraordinary natural environment create the conditions for one of the country's most immersive rural retreats. The journey to the property sets the tone immediately narrow roads wind through groves of cocoa, bamboo, and pineapple before opening onto a landscape of rivers, creeks, and dense tropical greenery that feels genuinely removed from the pace of modern life.

The hacienda's biodiversity is exceptional. More than 100 species of birds inhabit the property alongside exotic flowering plants including heliconia, and a rich mammal population that includes monkeys, foxes, armadillos, and pacas. Guided birdwatching, coffee and cocoa tastings, interaction with the cattle raised on the farm, and cycling through the property on available bikes offer a range of ways to engage with the land at whatever depth guests choose.

Rooms are named after birds found on the property and are impeccably decorated spacious, carefully considered, and designed entirely around rest and relaxation.
