Sacha Lodge is an extraordinary wilderness retreat set within a pristine 5,000-acre ecological reserve in the Ecuadorian Amazon, offering a collection of exclusive experiences that simply cannot be found anywhere else on earth. Walking across a bridge suspended high above the rainforest canopy, paddling through winding creeks in search of monkeys and river otters, climbing to the top of a giant kapok tree, swimming in a black-water lake, and threading quietly through the forest in search of the world's tiniest monkey are all part of daily life at this remarkable destination.

Despite feeling like a world apart, Sacha Lodge is surprisingly accessible. A short 25-minute flight from Quito is followed by a two-hour journey up the Napo River by motorized canoe, leaving civilization steadily behind with every passing mile. By lunchtime on arrival day, guests are typically settled in a hammock listening to the lively chatter of tamarin monkeys in the trees above.

The reserve is home to an incredible 600 species of birds and 50 species of bats, along with tiny pygmy marmosets, giant otters, and a wealth of other wildlife that makes every walk through the grounds a moment of discovery.
