Tucker's Point
Tucker's Point (Tucker's Town) is a small community that was discovered by the Governor of Bermuda, Daniel Tucker who first arrived in 1616. In 1750, 35 families had expanded the community and established a whaling station to support hunting off of the Bermuda’s south shore. By 1780, the cultivation of cotton was encouraged until 1834 when it was abolished. Today, guests can relax on acres of private resorts and a golf course while taking advantage of the tropical sunshine, glistening white sand, and warm turquoise waters.
