Ouarzazate
Ouarzazate is located in a valley at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains and is at the center of Sahara Desert tourism. The city is also the film capital of Morocco and was used to shoot many famous films with desert scenes. Ouarzazate boasts many luxury hotels, expensive restaurants, and shops. The recently restored Kasbah is also worth visiting and has been used as a movie set.
Marrakech
Marrakech, known as the "Pearl of the South," is an oasis in southwestern Morocco at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, with rose-colored ramparts and a thousand year old palm grove. Sumptuous and exuberant, it radiates splendor and mysticism and casts a magic spell on all who visit. Marrakesh has the largest berber market (souk) in Morocco and also hosts the busiest square in Africa. Founded in 1062 as the capital of the Almoravid dynasty, it continued in the 12th century as capital of the Almohads. Marrakech remained a political, economic and cultural center for a long period. Its influence was felt throughout the western Muslim world, from North Africa to Andalusia. Marrakech also became known as a magnet for some of the greatest saints of Islam, many of whom are buried within the city. Marrakech, like Fez, is a genuinely Islamic city in both its genesis and traditions. Marrakech has impressive monuments dating from that period: the Koutoubiya Mosque, the Kasbah, the battlements, monumental doors and gardens. Other architectural jewels include the Bandia Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Saadian Tombs and Place Jamaa El Fna, an open-air theater. The modern city was constructed in 1913 during the French occupation of the country and reflects the European influence. But the essence of the city remains the same.
Rabat
Rabat is the political and administrative capital of Morocco as well as the King's official residence, The Royal Palace. Across from the Royal Palace is the king's own mosque which is a wonderful example of Islamic architecture.
The city of Rabat is very clean and boasts both old Muslim quarters and beautiful remains of all periods of Moroccan history. The Oudaia Gate dates back to the Almonca Period. Its purpose is said to be ceremonial; the sight is beautiful. Another attraction, The Kasbah des Oudaia is both beautiful and peaceful. The Andalucian Gardens belong to the 20th century and boast the Museum of Moroccan Arts. Most of the houses in Rabat are painted white and have blue painted parapets.
Seville
Seville is one place most beloved by visitors to Spain. Although today Moorish influence is architectonically most evident - Andalusia was occupied by Moors for about 800 years - it has been a cultural center long before. Seville was home of famous and infamous figures of history, the legendary "Don Juan" started from here to conquer the hearts of women across all Europe, while Columbus started from a port close to Seville to discover a new world. Prosper Merimée's "Carmen", who couldn't make her decision between the officer Don José and the bullfighter Escamillo, can still be watched today in opera houses. Seville is the very heart of Andalusian culture and the center of bullfighting and Flamenco music. It was the capital of the country from 1139 to 1256 and its university was founded in 1290. This wine estate is located in the surroundings of Aldeia Galega and it spreads over the sunny hills’ of Alenquer, a Delimited Region in the northwest of Lisboa. Its historical and excellent vineyards are known since the 16th century and have belonged to Diogo Duff, a brave Scottish man who received the "Tower and Sword" insignia, given by King João VI. Alice and Paulo Tavares da Silva bought the estate in the 1980s and made significant investments in its 45ha of vineyard. The introduction of new cultivation methods has allowed the family to consolidate the quality and reputation of their wines.
In an accompanied visit, you can get to know the wine making technology and methods used in the Quinta to produce their elegant wines, learning every step of the wine process. After understand how the wines are produced, see for yourself how they are stored during the ageing process that gives them some of their most typical characteristic. Follows a private and lectured wine tasting, lectured by the responsible for the oenology department, Sandra Tavares da Silva, the daughter of the owners, or by the resident oenologist, so you can confirm the high quality of their product. The family will invite you for lunch at their house.
Sandra is making wines in both Estremadura and the Douro, which necessitates travelling between the two regions three times a week. Since then her day job has been as winemaker for Christiano Van Zeller at Quinta do Vale D. Maria in the Douro. In 2000 she began making wines from her parents Estremadura estate, at the Quinta you will visit. With their depth of fruit and fine structure these have rapidly established a reputation as being among the best of the appellation.

This estate belongs to the Álvares Pereira de Melo family for almost four centuries. In this House lived during over a year the Queen Leonor, third wife of King Manuel I, sister of the Emperor D. Carlos V and mother of Infanta Dona Maria.
Upon arrival at the estate, you will be welcomed by the master rider at the Riding Hall and you will have the opportunity to ride a Lusitano Stallion for a classical dressage lesson.
After this unforgettable experience, you will have time to taste their wines from the different varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir) as well as selected blends such as Padre Pedro, Herdade de Muge and Marquees of Cadaval. The city of Rabat is very clean and boasts both old Muslim quarters and beautiful remains of all periods of Moroccan history. The Oudaia Gate dates back to the Almonca Period. Its purpose is said to be ceremonial; the sight is beautiful. Another attraction, The Kasbah des Oudaia is both beautiful and peaceful. The Andalucian Gardens belong to the 20th century and boast the Museum of Moroccan Arts. Most of the houses in Rabat are painted white and have blue painted parapets.
Seville is one place most beloved by visitors to Spain. Although today Moorish influence is architectonically most evident - Andalusia was occupied by Moors for about 800 years - it has been a cultural center long before. First stop will be at Batalha for an independent visit to the Monastery of the Dominicans of Batalha, one of Europe's greatest Gothic masterpieces protected as a World Heritage monument, built to commemorate the victory of the Portuguese over the Castilians at the battle of Aljubarrota in 1385.
Proceed to Alcobaça, and independent visit the Alcobaça Monastery, Europe's greatest Cistercian temple. Founded in 1153 to commemorate a victory against the Moors, it was finally completed in 1223. Alice and Paulo Tavares da Silva bought the estate in the 1980s and made significant investments in its 45ha of vineyard. The introduction of new cultivation methods has allowed the family to consolidate the quality and reputation of their wines.
In an accompanied visit, you can get to know the wine making technology and methods used in the Quinta to produce their elegant wines, learning every step of the wine process. After understand how the wines are produced, see for yourself how they are stored during the ageing process that gives them some of their most typical characteristic. Follows a private and lectured wine tasting, lectured by the responsible for the oenology department, Sandra Tavares da Silva, the daughter of the owners, or by the resident oenologist, so you can confirm the high quality of their product. Sandra is making wines in both Estremadura and the Douro, which necessitates travelling between the two regions three times a week. Since then her day job has been as winemaker for Christiano Van Zeller at Quinta do Vale D. Maria in the Douro.
