The Egerton's Private Dining Room

We are firm believers in breakfast being the most important meal of the day and because we do not want any of our guests to miss out, a full cooked breakfast is available at around the clock.
Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM each day a hearty English breakfast is available in the Dining Room along with an extensive continental breakfast buffet offering healthy breakfast cereals, freshly squeezed fruit juices, cheeses, organic smoked salmon and seasonal fruits and berries.
Our dining room also lends itself Operfectly well for private meetings, lunches or small cocktail parties. We draw a regular and appreciative audience – people who like great food impeccably served in intimate surroundings. They come to us simply because they like the way we do things. If we don't have what they want on the menu – and we have the ingredients to hand – we'll cook whatever they want.
Afternoon Tea in our Drawing Room Lounge

Afternoon tea is a great British tradition and is served each afternoon in our elegant Drawing Room. Our scones are homemade and freshly baked each day, served with thick clotted cream and fruit preserves. The tea is served with a tempting assortment of delicate fresh finger sandwiches with a variety of toppings,a slice of carrotcake, a chocolate delight, a 'Laduree' style macaroon and a delicious fresh berry tartlet,all homemade and fresh, accompanied by your choice of traditional English Higgins tea's or coffee.

Our Bar has to be one of the most discreet in London; with impeccable service and a relaxed atmosphere it is the perfect place to unwind. We can highly recommend the Martinis. Our barman, Antonio Pizzuto has spent 40 years perfecting his art, which is why his Martinis are quite simply the best in London. Under his stewardship, our hotel bar has become one of the hidden gems of the city – a word-of-mouth destination for those who like soft conversation in intimate surroundings.

Although there is no formal restaurant at The Egerton, guests can choose from the wide selection of options on our menu. From warming classics such as Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup to something more substantial such as Aberdeen Angus sirloin steak or The Egerton's delicious hamburger.

Our chef and kitchen staff are flexible and helpful, and provided we have the ingredients will be delighted to prepare your favorite dish to order: please feel free to ask.

Guests are welcome to dine in-room (24 hours) or in the bar and lounge area: alternatively, if you are planning a small dinner party the elegant dining room is available for your privacy and enjoyment. An extensive night menu is also available between 10:30 pm and 6:30 am.

Take M4 towards Central London
Follows signs to Knightsbridge
Once headed towards Knightsbridge you will be on Brompton Road.
Stay to your left, passing the Victoria & Albert Museum
At the 1st set of traffic lights by the Victoria and Albert Museum, look for the store called Divertimenti at the right side of the road.
Indicate to the right and turn right into Egerton Terrace
The hotel is located in Egerton Terrace, which will be on your left.

Driving Directions to Egerton House Hotel from London Gatwick Airport:

Take the M23 / A23 towards Central London for approximately 23 miles.
Continue until Streathall Hill Station and take the A205 signposted South Circular Road West, Clapham Junction.
In Clapham Common, take the A3 signposted Central London, Hammersmith
Turn left onto Elspeth Road - A3220 (signposted Hammersmith, Clapham Junction). Continue forward on the A3220 over Battersea Bridge.
Continue passing Sloane Square into Sloane Street, follow along, until the last set of traffic light and turn left onto Brompton Road (A4).
Once headed towards Knightsbridge you will be on Brompton Road.
Stay to your left, passing Harrods department store.
Look for the store called Divertimenti on your left and indicate the left turn.
The hotel is located in Egerton Terrace, which will be on your left.

Follow the M40 from Oxford to London.
The M40 becomes A40 as you approach London.
Follow A40 to the Paddington Fly Over at Edgware Road.
Follow signs to Marble Arch.

Follow the roundabout around Hyde Park Corner, taking the exit to Knightsbridge.
Once headed towards Knightsbridge you will be on Brompton Road.
