Dolmabahce Palace
Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul, is situated on the gardens, which once belonged to the Dolmabahce Palace. Dolmabahce Palace was the last residence of the Ottoman Sultans, and the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who lived his last days and died in this Palace. Famous for its Rococo - Baroque architecture and glass chandeliers, the Palace is a short 5 min walk from the hotel. Closed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Grand Bazaar
At the covered bazaar are hundreds of vendors selling everything from pottery to silver to leather. Only 3 miles/5 km from the hotel, one must experience the bargaining at the Grand Bazaar.

Saint Sophia Museum/Blue Mosque
3 miles/5 km from the hotel. St. Sophia Museum is closed on Mondays.
