Moving seamlessly from historic spaces, the guestrooms and suites are contemporary yet serene, designed with meticulous detail. Rusticated Portland stone or fumed Oak panels complement parquet floors and copper light doors creating a calming and luxurious ambiance. The materials and techniques used are inspired by existing elements from the historic spaces conveying a strong sense of place.

Hotel Café Royal's luxury rooms are some of the largest in London. Each is entered by a generous lobby with double doors leading onto bathrooms created exclusively in Carrara marble, a signature throughout the hotel.

Amongst the collection of modern and impeccably finished guestrooms and suites, Hotel Café Royal also boasts seven historic suites, each with their own aesthetic, character and story.

All guestrooms and suites feature contemporary and thoughtful touches; luxurious Frette bed linen, a fully stocked Butler's Pantry and Bang & Olufsen media systems. Dome Penthouse

Created under a copper domed rotunda, an original feature of this Grade II listed building, the Dome Penthouse, has been modernized to become the ultimate rock 'n' roll suite. It is in this very room that Oscar Wilde fell in love with Lord Alfred Douglas, Aubrey Beardsley debated with Whistler, David Bowie retired Ziggy Stardust and Mick Jagger, the Beatles and Elizabeth Taylor danced the night away. Dating back to 1865 and formerly known as the Grill Room, the gilded room was renamed in honour of our most famous patron becoming the Oscar Wilde Lounge. Today, this dramatic setting is home to Hotel Café Royal's award-winning afternoon tea service, presented masterfully by our dedicated restaurant team and creative chefs.
