Del Mar Race Track and Thoroughbred Club
The Del Mar Thoroughbred club, "where the turf meets the surf," is an American horse-racing track located at the nearby Del Mar Fairgrounds with over 40 days of thoroughbred racing every summer season. Ladies bring your hats for Opening Day, the place to see and be seen from July through September.
San Diego Polo Club
Home to U.S.P.A. competitions such as the Rossmore Cup and the Spreckle's cup, the San Diego Polo club has one of the longest seasons in the country, May through October, and features some of the world's finest players and horses. Balboa Park
