Art Galleries in Zurich
A typical feature of Zurich is its high density of art galleries; along the Rämistrasse galleries are just a few minutes walk apart, while in the former grounds of the Löwenbrau brewery, they are even door by door. The reopening of the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich’s Old Town - after being closed for 90 years - marked the beginning of a brand new Dada era. The "Dadahaus" with exhibitions, events and bar, as well as its small specialist lending library, is open to the public. In this vibrant cultural center, bridges are built between Dada and modern social and cultural trends. About 14 out of the 50 museums in Zurich are devoted to art.
Museums in Zurich
Zurich and the surrounding region are home to the largest number of museums and exhibitions in whole Switzerland. The Kunsthaus is one of Europe's primary museums of art and host to a series of constantly changing exhibitions. Lake Zurich
Sunbathing and swimming in Zurich
Zurich offers plenty of nice opportunities for a swim in the lake of Zurich or River Limmat. The water is among the cleanest in Europe and is perfect for swimming and sunbathing. There is the possibility of just jumping into the lake almost anywhere, but the city also has official outdoor swimming baths, many of them with facilities such as cloakrooms, toilets and kiosks. Many of them have an entrance fee, but the ones on the river are usually free. In the evening, many of them turn into lively open-air bars.
The Perfect Weekend in Zurich
Start your weekend in Zurich with a refreshing drink on the urban city terrace of the ONYX Bar. Our bar manager, Julio Enzler, recommends a special cocktail from the signature menu –. So for example, the specially-created "ONYX splash", consisting of ginger syrup, Italian Aperol and, orange soda and flavoured with aromatic lime leaves.
Water, Alps and Zurich's Culture
In the immediate vicinity of Park Hyatt Zurich , the deep blue Zurich Lake with its famous alpine view could hardly be more picturesque. In the evening we recommend a performance at the Tonhalle Zurich, which can be combined with a dinner in parkhuus restaurant. We serve the appetiser and main course before the concert, and the dessert after the performance crowns the evening.
From Zurich along the "Gold Coast" to Rapperswil

Local cuisine
The Swiss cuisine combines German, Italian and French influences, but also has regional differences. A regional specialty is 'Züri Geschnetzeltes', a veal stew in a creamy mushroom sauce, served with 'Rösti'. The 'Zopf' is a braided white bread that is often eaten on Sundays for breakfast and 'Tirggel' are Christmas biscuits made of honey, flour, sugar and spices. Also, 'Müsli' was invented in Switzerland by Dr. Bircher.
Another culinary highlight is a dinner in the elegang Lobby Lounge. In addition to a selection of classics, you can savour beauty , brain and mood food. This creative concept was developed in collaboration with the Swiss nutritionist Marianne Botta.
