Interior spaces and rooms are individually decorated and appointed with a unique combination of Western antiques and custom furniture to reflect an authentic Montana ranch with high-end sensibility.
There are nine rooms in the Granite Lodge, each finding design inspiration in iconic Western themes, such as the great old railroad hotels during the turn of the century and the classic guns that helped win the West. Our Lodge weaves luxury, style and authenticity together in a manner unique among guest ranches in Montana.
Winchester - features a king bed as well as a full size pull out loveseat, thus accommodating up to three guests comfortably. Located on the lower level, Winchester also has high ceilings and private access from the courtyard.
Remington - has a queen bed with a twin pull out sofa. This room is ADA approved. It is also located on the lower level with high ceilings and private access from the courtyard.
Appaloosa - offers a king canopy bed with views to the west and south toward the hills behind the Granite Lodge. This room in on the upper level.
Mustang - is the only room in the Granite Lodge that features two queen beds. Located on the upper level, Mustang's view is northwestern toward Rock Creek.
Palomino - features a king canopy bed with views to the southeast on the upper level of the Granite Lodge.
Sharps - has a king bed with a private balcony over the courtyard of the Granite Lodge. Located on the upper level, its view looks toward the Rock Creek Valley.
Derringer - features a king bed with views of the Rock Creek valley in the corner of the upper level. Derringer may be combined with Sharps to form a two-bedroom family suite.
Springfield - offers a king bed with a private balcony over the courtyard of the Granite Lodge. It also views the Rock Creek valley from the upper level.
Colt - features either a king bed or two twin beds in the corner of the upper level. Colt may be combined with Springfield to form a two-bedroom family suite.
The five bedroom Bear House is an appealing log home located a short walk from the Granite Lodge. Downstairs there is a room with a double bed, and another room with two twins that share a full bath. Upstairs is the master suite with a king bed and en-suite bath. In addition there are two more bedrooms, each with one queen bed and en-suite bath. There is a living room with a fireplace, full kitchen, dining room and sun porch. The Bear House also has internet access, a deck with a hot tub and a laundry room. This home's standard occupancy is six guests, with a maximum of ten.
The River House sits on the banks of Rock Creek across the road from the Granite Lodge. On the main level, there is a master bedroom with a queen bed and bath, and a private deck. Also on the first floor there is a living room with a fireplace as well as a full kitchen with a screened-in dining porch. In addition, there are laundry facilities and an office. Upstairs, the home offers two bedrooms each with a queen bed and bath, sitting area with TV, and pull-out full bed. The River House has a standard occupancy of up to 6, with a maximum of 8 guests.
Recreated in the hayloft of The Ranch’s 19th-century barn, The 700-square-foot Loft combines the charm of exposed-rafter ceilings with luxurious amenities. The bedroom/sitting area has a king bed, queen pullout sofa, large-screen television and stereo. The bath features a huge marble-tiled shower with a built-in bench, and the elegant slipper tub is large enough for two. The outdoor porch or the indoor gaming table are perfect for evening socializing.
Located in the same remodeled barn as The Loft, Wrangler features a queen bed, full bath, sitting area with separate W.C. The covered porch just outside offers views out across the meadow, with the sounds of the creek murmuring in the distance.
For some, the definitive experience at our luxury guest ranch is to stay in one of our signature Canvas Cabins - the true "glamping" experience. Yards from Rock Creek, these "tents" as they are casually called, offer the best way to feel a part of nature. They are individually furnished in a rustic camp style, featuring private baths, comfortable beds with luxurious bedding and the murmur of the creek running by just outside your front door.

Our Rod & Gun guides provide extensive safety and technique instruction with fully adjustable compound bows. Four miles of private access and pristine river frontage on this freestone mountain stream boasts seven species of fish: Westslope cutthroat, rainbow, cut-bow, brown, brookie, bull and the Rocky Mountain whitefish. Rock Creek is famous for its salmonfly hatch starting in late May and lasting into July, as well as additional hatches including mayflies, golden stoneflies and caddis fly. Our licensed and trained fishing guides are excited to share their professional expertise and personal passion for fishing. They go above and beyond to ensure that your fishing experience is both enjoyable and successful.

The Silver Dollar Saloon takes its name from the Silver Dollars embedded in the bar, which are seen as a good luck charm. Skeet Shooting
Our outstanding Trap and Skeet course is a quick-trigger challenge game designed to test the reflexes of the shooter. Skeet shooting is a fast game consisting of nine fixed shooting stations and two fixed traps, or target throwers. The shooter rotates through the stations shooting singles and doubles for a total of twenty-five shots per game.Our trap shoot consists of five shooting lanes with varying degrees of difficulty and one fixed trap, or target thrower. The trap oscillates to create new challenging positions between shots. Each new shot varies in angle and height. Participants in a "singles" game of trap will shoot five targets from each of the five stations. In a "doubles" game the competitor shoots at five pairs and ten targets at each of the five stations.

Boardroom Meeting Space
The Library is dedicated to brunches, meetings or small receptions. Comforts include upholstered chairs, a flat-screen TV, a wrap-around table and bookshelves filled with Western classics. This space also works well in combination with the Great Hall for a bar/lounge area or a kids dining room during a reception. For groups of more than 30 guests, the Buckle Barn is available with AV.
Bocce Ball Court
Lawn games such as bocce and horseshoes are available at The Ranch for guest use. Often these are set up at the Buckle Barn or Blue Canteen for weekly Ranch events in the evening.

Shooting Centre
Shooting is a Montana tradition with deep roots in our history. It is also a rich part of modern identity to a large group of responsible multi-generational sportspeople. The Ranch at Rock Creek offers an unmatchable multi-faceted set of ranges and activities that experts and novices alike find challenging and enjoyable. Our guides train each guest on safety guidelines, proper handling and techniques with all equipment to ensure a safe experience for everyone. Start with a traditional indoor flow or move beyond the four corners of the mat and experience the serenity of yoga in a stunning outdoor setting. During the winter, we offer complimentary weekly group sessions and Snowga sessions. Private sessions are offered in varying styles, such as vinyasa, hatha, restorative, power or gentle, and they can be combined with your daily Ranch adventures like mountain biking, hiking and the ropes course.

Our cuisine at The Ranch reflects its pure surroundings – prime organic beef, elk, bison, free-range chicken, organic eggs, fresh fish, seasonal local fruits, vegetables and fresh herbs, all enhanced by an inspired wine list. Chef Josh Drage is a superb chef whose skills and attention to detail are reflected in menu items such as Montana elk ribeye with Flathead cherry demi-glace, watermelon and fennel salad, and white chocolate macadamia nut brownies.
