Built in what was once a 12th century private villa for an Italian noble family and opened as a hotel in 1997, Palazzo Avino has been landed as one of the world’s finest hotels and boasts one-star Michelin dining. Tucked away in the medieval hilltop village of Ravello, perched high on the cliffs, 350 m (1,000 feet) above the sparkling Mediterranean, Palazzo Avino overlooks some of the coast’s most picturesque fishing villages.

It is the largest and most beautiful suite in the hotel. Situated on the top floor of the building, is composed of one large living room including a dining area, one bedroom, one large bathroom with both Jacuzzi bath and separate large shower. There is also an additional guest bathroom in the living room area. On the higher floor there is a relaxing area that lead's onto a very large terrace with an amazing view over the Amalfi Coast with a Jacuzzi Pool and a large dining area. Equipped with plasma screen, Bose Hi Fi in all areas.

Our two Michelin stars restaurant has just been awarded with very high ratings in all major Italian guides. The just reward for endless passion.
Pino Lavarra our Executive Chef after having worked at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxford with Raymond Blanc went to run the renowned Grissini at the Hyatt Carlton Tower in London, is back in Ravello with the goal to make of Rossellinis one of the finest Italian restaurants.
The restaurant is closed from the November to March. During the season, the "Rossellinis"is open for dinner only. If you think of treating yourself with an unforgettable meal, think of doing so at night, on one of our terraces, looking down on the fishing boats 1,000 feet below!
Donato Marzolla, our Restaurant Manager, and his team will accompany you throughout your meal with a friendly, attentive and unobtrusive service.
Caffé dell'Arte

Enjoy the views from the Caffé dell'Arte while trying one of our special cocktails or unique selection of products from the most common ones to several unique choices of rare liqueurs, rhum and brandies.
At the "Caffé dell'Arte" you will have a peaceful and memorable time, either sipping a cocktail or tasting some of our delicious snacks, while looking at how sea and sky blend together through its arches. The music of our pianist will delight you through some great lazy evenings in a very romantic atmosphere. In summer unwind on some of our terraces and their unique view that you will never forget.

The " Terrazza Belvedere" serve an array of delicious snacks and "fresh pasta dishes", refreshments and delicious cocktails.

Directions

Guests arriving from Naples Airport by car:

From the Car Park follow the sign to Autostrade (green road sign).
Follow the directions to Salerno (A3).
Drive for about 6 Km. Pay toll.
Drive appx. 25 Km. Leave the Autostrade at Angri (Uscita Angri).
Turn left, follow the sign to Ravello through Angri.
Drive for about 2 Km.
Turn right following the road sign "Costiera Amalfitana". Within 100m you come to traffic lights prior to narrow bridge.
Watch not to miss the next Ravello sign, at appx. 1 Km from the traffic lights.
Now relax and enjoy the views (follow this road for 22 Km).
Once in Ravello, at the junction, turn right throughout the tunnel and take the first left (Ville), travel up the hill to yellow hotel signs, turn left.
Proceed up the hill to the fountain, completely round the fountain and continue up-hill to the church.
Park the car.
Palazzo Avino is through the arch, a porter will collect your luggage and take your car to the car park...

Guests arriving from Rome by car:

Take the G.R.A. (Gran Raccordo Anulare) direction NAPOLI autostrada.
Once on the G.R.A., follow directions for Autostrada per Napoli (A1)
Follow the A1 for approximately 200 km
Leave the Autostrada at Angri Exit ( Uscita Angri)
Turn left, follow the sign to Ravello through Angri (mountains are on your right).
Drive for about 2 Km (careful, road surface not too good).
Turn right following the road sign Amalfi/Ravello.
Within 100m you come to traffic lights prior to narrow bridge.
Watch you do not miss the next sign to Ravello at a right turn about 1 Km from the traffic lights.
Follow the indication for Ravello for approximately 8 km, you will reach the Ristorante Valico di Chiunsi, then turn right .
You will see a sign for the town Ravello. At the junction, turn right throughout the tunnel and take the first left (Ville), travel up the hill to yellow hotel signs, turn left.
Proceed up the hill to the fountain, go completely round the fountain and continue up the hill to Hotel Caruso (building site).
Park the car.
Palazzo Avino is through the arch, a porter will collect your luggage and take your car to the car park.
