Akagera Aviation Rwanda operates the one-way Agusta Westland 119 Helicopter transfer, and it is strictly subject to all Akagera Aviation operational terms and conditions. If due to inclement weather, helicopter is unable to fly, alternative road transfer between resorts will be arranged.

One&Only Nyungwe House has 19 guest rooms and three two-bedroom Forest Suites. The luxury guest rooms and suites are modern in design, yet with traditional Rwandan influences, each overlooking the vast African terrain with private decks and in-room log-burners.

This room category has been redesigned to include a draped four-poster King sized bed. The private deck has been designed using modern furniture made from copper and finished with straw detail. The spacious en-suite bathroom remains the same featuring twin vanities, and indulgent stand-alone bath. Another detail that has been added is the sliding door between room and bathroom has been covered with an African print material. Reason being is so that for guests booked in the twin rooms they can use the bathroom with privacy, not being able to see through the sliding door, while using the bathroom. King, 473 square feet and twin 581 square feet.
Nyungwe Twin Room

This room category has been redesigned to include new two queen sized beds with leather headboard. The wallpaper behind the beds is a beautiful African inspired print which blends in with the print of the pillows and brings a warm feeling to the whole room. The spacious en-suite bathroom remains the same featuring twin vanities, and indulgent stand-alone bath. One detail that has been added is the separator of bathroom and room has been covered with an African inspired wallpaper. The private deck has been designed using modern furniture made from copper and finished with straw detail. King, 473 square feet and twin 581 square feet.
Forest Suite

This room category has been redesigned to include a draped four-poster King sized bed in one room, the second room has new two queen sized beds with leather headboard. The wallpaper behind the beds is a beautiful African inspired print which blends in with the print of the pillows and brings a warm feeling to the whole room. The lounge has been interior designed to include local artworks from two Rwanda artists named Emmanuel Nkuranga and Tutu Semutwa who are from Inema Art Center. The chandeliers in the suites have been strategically selected to bring in the theme of nature. One chandelier is a group of leaves which speaks to the forest lodge theme. 1,410 square feet.
