There is something truly special about the ambience and rich history of the 1925 Suite.
Located on the 7th floor of Le Bristol, stunning natural light bathes the space, while spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops beyond draw the gaze.
In 2018, Le Bristol inaugurated the Suite 1925 as an ode to American-born French entertainer, Josephine Baker.
Madame Baker, who made a huge contribution to the swing era with star billing at the Folies-Bergère, is honoured through striking portraits decorating the walls.
The lavish living room features one famous portrait taken by photographer George Hoyningen-Huene in 1934, a familiar image from the Best of Josephine Baker album cover.
A much-loved habitué of Le Bristol, in 1975, Baker invited 250 guests to the hotel to celebrate the 50th anniversary of her Paris debut at the Bobino Theatre.
Like the famous leading lady, the newly redesigned suite exudes pure elegance and offers the intimate atmosphere of a Parisian apartment. Shades of cream, sky blue, white, light oak and powder pink are complemented by cool silks, luxurious cashmere and precious materials.
Every detail has been meticulously considered and no corner has been neglected. Loro Piana, Braquenié, and Manuel Canovas, among others, have been consulted by Countess Bergit Douglas and MM-Design to offer custom designs that bring a bespoke and individual touch
With its expansive size, the suite balances its vastness with intimate charm. It is the perfect choice for a romantic interlude and to enjoy exceptional levels of comfort.
The 1925 Suite measures 753 square feet and can be connected to a Junior Suite to create a single 1,259-square-foot apartment.
