Amawaterways made a ship swap as seamless as possible. Did not feel we missed any sight seeing opportunities or excursions. The holiday "extras" were wonderful!

It is what it is, but it felt like we were speed dating each country as you're only there for a day and then you move on. This is just a fact of how these river cruises are, but you are definitely drinking out of a travel firehose. To that note, we did tour and visit five countries in a week! In fact, on one fun bike ride, we rode from Switzerland to France to Germany and back to Switzerland in about an hour. The staff quickly become your friends. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The communication from the Cruise Director about itinerary/schedule was well coordinated -- we always felt like we were well informed about schedule, etc. There are plenty of selections for every meal. The food presentations were absolutely gorgeous.

We enjoyed the cruise but I would not consider it 5 star quality. It may be that a 7 day cruise is just not enough time to really enjoy the Rhine offerings. We often felt rushed.

We had a great time on our Rhine River trip in October 2021. This was our first experience on a small river cruise and we were very impressed. The entire staff on the ship went out of their way to make our trip the best it could be. Our cruise manager, Crystal August, was fabulous! She made all the arrangements for every aspect of our trip and everything went perfectly! Boda and Vlad served us at our dining table and were fun and extremely capable. All excursions were well-planned and fun.

This trip exceeded expectations. We loved everything about it and highly recommend. The ship was immaculate. The service was beyond compare and the excursion guides were phenomenal. We met really nice people and made some lifelong friends. We'll definitely travel with Ama again.
