Viking River Cruise Amsterdam to Budapest

Everything about the ship and the trip exceeded our expectations.

We took this trip to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Everything regarding Viking exceeded our expectations. From when we were met at the airport in Amsterdam to being escorted to the ticket counter in Budapest, Viking did an excellent job. We would recommend Viking for anyone taking a river cruise.

Many of the passengers came down with cough and colds.

We had a great time and 18 days was probably too long for us. The daily walks around each city were very educational and the optional excursions we signed up for were well worth it. We also passed thru 70+ locks which was a real experience.

We had a wonderful experience. Our only glitch was our return home plane left Amsterdam an hour late, causing us to miss our connecting flight from Mpls. to Rochester, MN.

The moderate walking excursions were a little too demanding for people with mobility issues.

The cruise was wonderful. I had a problem with a couple of excursions with the guides going too fast for people with walking issues. We did sign up for the easy walk which was better.
