The AmaBella is a stunning river ship, unique in her own right. A classic design palette of black and white in the Main Lounge allows your conversations to provide the color. The intimate marbled bar is an inviting place to grab a cocktail and the Sun Deck putting green, featured only on select AmaWaterways ships, lures both regular golfers and newcomers alike. Most staterooms feature signature twin balconies so you can enjoy the views however you wish, as well as Entertainment on Demand and marble bathrooms with multi-jet showerheads. Enjoyed cruise and AMA as organized as ever. Crew very well trained and friendly. Food is very good but it appears to me that portions are somewhat smaller than in the past. This was taken care of when several of our party ordered two main courses. Desserts are very good and you can order two or even three. Airport transportation was seamless. Tours were enjoyable and informative.

Everyone I spoke with on the cruise said the same thing - how nice the cruise all in all was. You could tell the staff loved their jobs. Ship was a littler older, but still nice. Many wanted to sail on Ama again.

Guides were good for the most part. Most trips were just “walk around” with no time to visit museums, etc. Menus limited. Only two extra options each night excluding basics “always available” salmon, steak, chicken breast. Not for travelers who want to experience a location.

Great experience overall. Great staff, ship, and excursions. Be aware that tips are not included, which made things awkward on the last day since individual tips were encouraged. The lowest deck is partially submerged so would not recommend. State rooms without French or balcony doors have only very small windows. Christmas markets in Eastern Europe are no major destination.

Ama Waterways delivers a superb river cruise experience. Every aspect of the cruise was carefully planned and organized and the ship's staff were highly skilled and extremely accommodating. All staff wore masks 100% of the time they were in areas accessible to passengers. The Cruise Manager was exceptional in her organization, knowledge and relationships with guests.

The cruise exceeded my expectations. The ship was beautiful, the crew were attentive and gracious, the cruise director was amazing, and the sights were wonderful. All the city tours were informative and most of the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. The pace was good, and it was a lot of fun. The weather was a bit cold but not unexpected for central Europe in December. I was impressed how concerned the ship/crew was with sanitation. They had hand sanitizer and hot towels to greet us on our return from shore excursions. Additionally, they had hand sanitizer available before we entered the dining rooms. This was admirable, given the stories of many ships in recent years that have had many sick cruisers aboard! We had a wonderful time, met some new friends, and will definitely consider another cruise with Amawaterways in the future.
