The ship was beautiful and cleanCONS
The Spa being located under the Gym was a very poor design decision. You can hear people jumping up and down and dropping weights, etc. It kills the zen vibe that a spa should have.RECOMMENDED

Excellent ship, top notch staff who learns your name quickly and addresses you by name each time they see you. Main Dining room food is excellent.CONS
Disappointed in the Windjammer. Tons of food to eat, but too much that I don't care for. Grits should be of the texture that you eat them with a fork, not a straw.RECOMMENDED
YesMy cruise was 7 nights, which I am discovering is too long for me. Probably a four night cruise fits me better.

Time went too quick!RECOMMENDED
YesMel at Starbucks, Michael and Ida at the main dining room Deck 3 at 5 pm setting, Jose - head of dining room, Reslie - head chef, and Timothy - my room steward - each of these individuals went out of their way to make my week of cruising phenomenal!! I truly appreciate them going the 2nd mile on a daily basis. I had the best time on this ship!!! Thank you for making our week extra special!

Small Staterooms, Not enough storage space. Few drawers with minimal hanging spaceRECOMMENDED
YesI loved the ship. Great staff. RCI has upped its game on entertainment. The room was small for four people. There was not much storage space in the room. Luckily, we had two rooms to share, or we wouldn't have had enough. The verandah was a good size. There were very clean areas throughout the ship.

Adult-only solarium was a saunaRECOMMENDED
YesWe loved Wonder, but found ourselves yearning for the lovely breezy Solarium on the Oasis of the Seas. The Solarium on Wonder is completely enclosed, so there is no breeze and the hot, humid air is just trapped in there. Otherwise, the ship was just . . . well, wonderful. There was never a super long wait for an elevator, and the food just really can't be beat. We never ate in the main dining room, choosing instead to hit up the Windjammer for pretty much every meal. And we didn't regret that once!! Our cabin didn't feel cramped at all. There were plenty of places to put clothes, shoes, toiletries, etc. There were many outlets and USB ports. We had an ocean view balcony, which I very much enjoyed. The only thing was that the chairs were zip-tied to the most awkward semi-reclining position. I wish I they had been in a more up-right position, which would have been better for reading. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and they kept that ship immaculate. The shows were great and included talented performers. We enjoyed the daily puzzles and trivia, and the Bingo. There was always something to do!

YesBeautiful layout, especially the boardwalk.. My choice for inside balcony too noisy and I miss the ocean view.. my mistake . making reservations for Shows on app, If you were late, and try to remake a new reservation. It would not allow you to do that. Efficient boarding and departure. Coco cay was too crowded. And not enjoyable For adults Extra cost for additional food at dinner drinks were watered down. Overall a pleasant experience. Personally, I prefer smaller ships and smaller crowds.

Underage kids in bar areas. Parents not watching their kids.RECOMMENDED
YesThis cruise was amazing. The staff, amenities, food/drinks, Shows/Entertainment, and the ship were all perfect. The only thing I would say was an issue was parents bringing their children into the adults only areas: solarium, bars. Also letting their children run around the ship unsupervised. I know those issues aren't Royal Caribbeans fault, they are the deadbeat parents fault.

YesThe service in all the restaurants and bars was top notch. Our cabin attendant on the 11th floor Sonny was wonderful! We had a junior suite that was spacious and I loved having the walk-in closet. The Halloween decorations appeared on the promenade on the 30th, and we had so much fun seeing all the fantastic costumes even before the costume contest. Schooner bar and the solarium bar are both staffed with attentive bartenders and a good (more mellow) place to hang out. NOTE TO ROYAL_ 1) Why eliminate the solarium/adults only areas on the new ships? Lots of cruise passengers want to chill out in a more tranquil area without kids. We cruise a lot with you, but we will be sticking to the older/cheaper ships to use the solarium.

YesWe had a large group for a family reunion and to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The staff were all wonderful and took great care of us, helping to make the celebration of the anniversary and our overall reunion be as great as it could be. The MDR staff in particular were fantastic and went out of their way to help with the celebrations, but all the restaurant staff (specialty and others) as well as our stateroom attendants and other staff were very friendly and good overall. The actual ship was fantastic, with so many entertainment and dining options and venues. In particular, the casino was very well run and the hosts like Sergio were friendly and helpful. Also, the Music Hall was a very nice venue to have that other Oasis class ships don't always have, and the Centerpiece Band that often played there were very good and also friendly.

YesWe had 2 rooms and my room constantly had issues with the toilet flushing and overflowing, every morning when I woke up the water was to the top and at one point flowing out of our toilet. This happened multiple times a day, every single day of the cruise. I had to call maintenance to our room each day. I went to guest services to discuss this with them and they informed me the maintenance manager would come by, he never did. I would think for the amount of money we spent, we would have been offered to switch rooms at the very least. Other than that, my family enjoyed the cruise and the rest of the staff.

Very loud & very crowdedRECOMMENDED
NoBeautiful ship but it's very crowded. The dining room was so noisy we couldn't hear the person talking across the table. Very busy & always waiting. Crowded into elevators, lines in dining room & the ports are back to back people. We did manage to figure out the best times to get a coffee, go to the Windjammer & get to the ports early. And it's loud. Everywhere you go there is loud music playing & we couldn't find a quiet place to eat or have a coffee where you could talk. We always liked the dining room to catch up with friends in the evening after excursions, but not here. It's so loud you can hardly hear each other. I know lots of people don't care about the crowds & like the music but it was just not for us. We had a great trip & made the best of everything, but we will not be going again.

Just Too CrowdedRECOMMENDED
NoSomething’s don’t scale up proportionally. Elevators, rooms per steward, tables per wait staff, trams at ports among other things. So there were chronic people jams at trams and elevators and on the promenade. Also you can scale up staffing but not necessarily the training needed to do the job needed. Our room steward was clearly new to his job. He couldn’t figure out how to work around our schedule even when we told him in advance. Our assistant waiter had just been promoted. As it turned out he could handle it. If he sticks it out he will be a fine server. We never did eat breakfast in the main dining room. On the one hand. The app said only continental fare but we heard anecdotal stories of full breakfast. The main dining room was another odd thing. The classics weren’t that good but the rotation entrées weren’t always good. They had trouble with chicken breast being too dry. Steaks were overdone on several occasions. Same with lamb shanks. The entrees looked good on the plate but the proof is in the pudding. I’m used to main dining entrees being nearly sublime. Here, workmanlike at best. At least not what i would have expected of the flagship of the fleet. Speaking of the app, really unintuitive. No matter how you search you’re always left with incomplete information. By the time you find something and where it is and when, you discover it is sold out for the entire cruise. I love to cruise. Give me great dining. Some entertainment and a chair with an ocean view I’m generally happy. Not hard to please at all. But this was too much mid town Manhattan and too little Central Park. I’ve been to the ports many times. I was there to bathe in the luster of the ship. Always behind some tall guy with a hat though. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not being negative. I enjoyed being away and the warm but it could have been so much more.

The customer service is so outstanding that you just feel at home and pampered immediately. If you're going, be sure to try the new Mason Jar restaurant - amazing twists on southern food. The band in the Mason Jar bar was outstanding too. For us, as an all adult group, we just loved the HUGE Solarium - ages 16+ only.
